A Campus Visit schedule can include a combination of one or more of the events below. Please read the following descriptions to see which you might like to include in your visit!
Campus Tour
Join us to discover the spaces, places, and people of the University of Alberta! Current UAlberta students will lead you on a comprehensive 60 minute walking tour showcasing the history, purpose, and quirks of the most popular buildings on our North Campus. Campus Tours conclude with a 15 minute Q&A session with an Advisor from the Office of the Registrar. Plan to dress for weather, as this tour takes place mostly outdoors!
Please note: Because our UAlberta Ambassadors are current students, we are unable to provide campus tours for guests who arrive more than 15 minutes after their appointment time.
Lister Residence Tour
This 45 minute walking tour of Lister Centre, our traditional first-year dormitory, provides guests with an accurate and engaging view of what life is like as a resident at the University of Alberta.
If you wish to book a visit to one of our other residences, please visit the Residence Services website.
Please note: Lister Residence Tours will be unavailable beginning August 16 in order for staff to prepare the residence for incoming students. Campus Tours and Academic Advising will still be available during this time.
